RPCS3 Git (2026/05/11) is a C++ open-source emulator for the Sony PlayStation 3, compatible with Windows and Linux. Developed since 2011, it supports DirectX 12, Vulkan, and OpenGL, enabling it to boot and run many commercial games and PS3 SDK samples. The latest updates include fixes for shuffle playback, enhancements to the GUI, and improved ISO data reading. Additional features include basic AI usage guidance for contributors and the emulation of BanaPassport card readers. The emulator continues to evolve, increasing its game compatibility.
