Ymir Git (2026/08/16) is a new Sega Saturn emulator still in development. Key features include support for various game file formats, automatic BIOS detection, region switching, and multiplayer capabilities. It offers customizable keybindings, backup RAM management, save states, and rewind functionality. The latest changelog highlights updates such as improvements in the debugger and graphics rendering, along with bug fixes. Additional UI enhancements and configuration reorganizations have also been implemented to optimize performance. Built-in memory manager to import/export saves and transfer between internal and cartridge RAM
Save states
Rewind capabilities (up to one minute at 60 fps), turbo speed, and frame stepping (both forwards and backwards)
An expanding feature-rich debugger
