FB Alpha Shuffle v2.4.0 was released on May 29, 2026, introducing numerous features to enhance user experience. Key additions include AVI recording, input macros, and support for translated game names. The update allows import of game names from MAMEPlus!, introduces an image menu, and enables various image selection functions. Enhanced UI for game selection, preset saving, and filters were also included. Users can now load cheats from archives, adjust emulation speeds, and utilize a simple jukebox for specific games. FB Alpha Shuffle Features:

– added background image selection and random image functionality.
– added misc paths setup and enhanced UI for the game selection dialog.
– included save preset and default input mapping capabilities; saved in config/presets.
– added custom images in .\res folder; feel free to replace these images.
– included score, select, gameover, and boss snapshot displays in the game selection dialog.

– the emulator no longer depends on kailleraclient.dll.
You can place kailleraclient.dll in the same directory as the emulator for netplay if desired.

– many seldom-used features from the official FBA have been removed.
