Frogger – Quickplay – (SNES) – 1998

Hello Retro Gaming fans, Ryan Mcquinn here!

Growing up in the 80’s and 90’s was a blast, especially as a gamer! I remember going down to the Arcade on the weekend with $20 and spending all day playing games. I’d have a giant cup of soda, a pocket full of quarters, and more arcade machines than I could play in one day. Like most people, I had my favorites; Pac-Man, Galaga, Mortal Kombat… One stood out among the others, not to say I liked it more, but it had a sort of sentimental value. That game is Frogger. It was the one game I would challenge my uncle to and always lose! I would get so close to beating his high score and he’d come back to get an even higher one! There was only one time I can remember someone beat his score and he said “Oh hell no!” Dropped a quarter in and crushed it without breaking a sweat. What’s a game you enjoyed, or still enjoy playing with others? Today’s video shows the SNES version of Frogger.
