While development is ongoing, the primary objectives include: updating the codebase to current standards, eliminating the plugin system in favor of a unified codebase for all aspects of PlayStation emulation, utilizing SDL/OpenGL3+/ImGui for enhanced portability and readability, enhancing debugging capabilities, and improving rendering performance.
