Banpresto Co., Ltd.
Banpresto Co., Ltd. began in 1977 in Japan and for decades operated as a Tokyo-based amusement and licensed-works publisher that also ran prize/toy businesses. In the 1990s the company created dedicated game development units — Banpre Kikaku (1994) and later Banpresoft — to handle console and arcade projects. Its catalog includes numerous anime-licensed and crossover strategy titles, most notably entries in the Super Robot Wars line and other licensed tie-ins. Following corporate restructuring during the 2000s its home-video game operations were progressively integrated into Namco/Bandai group companies while the Banpresto name continued as a separate prize/toy brand. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, span systems such as PlayStation, SNES, PlayStation 2, PSP, SEGA Saturn, Game Boy Advance, PlayStation 3, PS Vita, Arcade, and Windows.
