Pack-In-Video Co., Ltd was a Tokyo-based video distributor turned game publisher founded in 1970 as a joint venture between Nihon Victor and Tokyo Broadcasting. The firm moved into interactive entertainment around 1985, initially releasing licensed tie-ins and MSX titles before expanding to Famicom and other platforms. In the 1990s it sometimes used the imprint Pack‑In‑Soft for internal development and collaborated on projects such as the 3DO title Scramble Cobra and Japan-only licensed releases tied to films like Rambo. In October 1996 its game operations were merged with Victor’s to form Victor Interactive Software.
