Gameplay
The first thing to understand is that Vol. III does not try to reinvent World Class Leader Board. It is an add-on built to extend it, so the immediate pull is simple: you already know the game and now have four more courses on which to test yourself. For a fan who had exhausted the original selection, that kind of expansion has a clean, practical appeal.
The roster is unusually well chosen for a four-course pack. TPC at Sawgrass and Firestone Country Club bring two American tournament names, while Banff Springs and Royal St George’s widen the trip to Canada and England. Even without a huge quantity of material, that geographic spread gives the set more character than a narrowly themed batch of courses would have had.
Frustration can set in if you buy it expecting a standalone release or a major new chapter for the underlying game. It is neither; it depends on World Class Leader Board and is focused entirely on additional course content. Go in wanting more rounds within a game you already enjoy, and its modest scope becomes its point rather than its limitation.

Graphics
The concrete visual attraction is the chance to visit courses associated with Ponte Vedra Beach, Akron, Banff, and Sandwich through the established World Class Leader Board framework. Banff Springs and Royal St George’s in particular give the course list a welcome change of locale beside the two American clubs.

Story
There is no dramatic campaign to carry Vol. III. Its theme is golf travel: four famous clubs, four recognizable locations, and the pleasure of taking the same game into a new set of named venues.
That spare framing suits an add-on from this era. TPC at Sawgrass, Firestone, Banff Springs, and Royal St George’s are the hook, and the names do much of the work for golfers who recognize them.
It also means the package is honest about what it is. Rather than dressing up extra courses with an unnecessary premise, Vol. III puts its focus on the destinations themselves.
Overall Experience
Famous Courses of the World: Vol. III is a focused expansion with a sensible purpose: give committed World Class Leader Board golfers four more real courses to play. It will not convert anyone who found the parent game stiff or uninteresting, but it can meaningfully extend a favorite.
The strongest reason to pick it up is the quality and range of the names collected here. This is not just a generic “more courses” disk; the Florida, Ohio, Canadian, and English destinations give it a broader touring flavor than its small count suggests.
Recommended for an existing World Class Leader Board owner who wants authentic course names and a compact new rotation. Everyone else should start with the base game first, then return here if its golf has already earned more of your time.
