Helped sustain KallistiOS and the tools around Dreamcast development.

In the emulation story
Lawrence Sebald, known as BlueCrab, is credited in Dreamcast project documentation for maintaining KallistiOS and helping other programmers. Source for later homebrew loaders also credits his Sylverant patcher work. His contributions belong to the continuing development infrastructure around the console. Project record.
The foundation that needs looking after
The KallistiOS author record credits Sebald across years beginning in 2005. It documents a sustained contribution to the development environment that independent Dreamcast programmers use.
A library is easy to overlook when a new game appears. Its work is visible in what the programmer can attempt: read an accessory, build an example, bring another piece of software across. Maintaining that foundation helps a console remain a practical place to make things long after its official development system has gone quiet.
