Bandai Co., Ltd.
Bandai Co., Ltd. began as Bandai-ya in Tokyo in 1950 under Naoharu Yamashina and grew from toy manufacture into a publisher of electronic and console entertainment from the late 1970s onward. Headquartered in Tokyo, the company produced licensed anime and manga tie-in games across consoles and handhelds — examples appearing in its historical catalogue include Gundam, One Piece and Slam Dunk tie-ins — while later undergoing corporate integration that led to the Bandai Namco group in 2005. Key company functions remained centered on toy, hobby and entertainment product lines. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, span systems such as PlayStation, PlayStation 2, SNES, WonderSwan, NES, WonderSwan Color, PSP, Windows, GameCube, and PlayStation 3.
