Ares Git (2026/06/10) is a multi-system emulator developed since October 14, 2004, as a descendant of higan and bsnes, focusing on accuracy and preservation. It currently emulates 27 hardware devices, including Famicom, Super Famicom, Nintendo 64 (in development), Game Boy, Sega systems, and more. Recent updates include reduced input latency for Nintendo 64 and a fix for flickering during CPU drawing. The emulator is available for download in x64 format.
