Tose Co., Ltd.
Founded as an offshoot of Toa Seiko in November 1979, TOSE Co., Ltd. is a Kyoto-based contract game developer that has operated primarily as an uncredited studio for other publishers. Company records show it established overseas subsidiaries including a U.S. office in Los Angeles during its expansion. Public sources identify the firm’s long-running role as an outside developer from the 1980s onward and note a few exceptions in which TOSE accepted on‑product credit (for example, Game & Watch Gallery 4 and the Legendary Starfy series). Titles commonly linked to the studio appear across many platforms in MobyGames’ developer listings. The game entries below, including versions and later rereleases grouped in this archive, span systems such as NES, SNES, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Arcade, Nintendo Switch, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, PlayStation, and Wii U.
