Snes9x Git (2026/05/18) is a portable, freeware emulator for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) that enables users to play most SNES and Super Famicom games on PC. The project, developed over three years, is coded in C++ and includes assembler CPU emulation cores for i386 Linux and Windows. A recent update adds support for VK_AMD_anti_lag. Download options are available for the x64 version and source code.
