Cube64 / Wii64 Version 1.4.4

Cube64 and Wii64 v1.4.4 have been released, providing Mupen64 emulator ports for the GameCube and Wii using the libOGC library. This update focuses on bug fixes for specific games, utilizing game-specific hacks due to the limitations of graphics plugins and GX hardware. Notable updates include resolving issues in “Excitebike 64,” “Destruction Derby Professional,” “F-Zero X,” and “GoldenEye.” Additionally, improvements have been made to car rendering, texture issues, and overall game stability. Inspired by GLideN64, these enhancements aim to optimize performance and visual rendering. Download links for both versions are available.

Cube64 / Wii64 v1.4.4 has been released. Wii64 & Cube64 are Mupen64 for the Gamecube/Wii. This is a port of the well-known multi-OS N64 emulator, Mupen64, adapted for the Nintendo Gamecube and Wii using the libOGC library. The emulator employs dynamic recompilation of the N64 machine code to PowerPC (the ISA of Gamecube/Wii) along with fully hardware-accelerated graphics, enabling (near) full-speed emulation in most cases.
